Dr. Mitchell has an active teaching and performing career, which has taken her all over the world. She has a Bachelor's and a Master's in Music from Cleveland Institute of Music and earned her Doctorate of Musical Arts from Rutgers University where she studied with Michael Tree. Dr. Mitchell is currently Professor of Viola at The College of New Jersey and is Adjunct Assistant Professor of Music at the City University of New York (CUNY) - Borough of Manhattan Community College.

PMAY Artists visits Cleveland Institute of Music

The Cleveland Institute of Music invites PMAY Artists (especially 11-12th graders) to experience a "Day in the Life" of CIM students. Families will have the opportunity to participate in lessons, masterclasses, and workshops as well as meet faculty, staff, and current students. Parents are encouraged to attend. Students may opt to stay in the student dormitory at no charge. For all inquiries, please contact Najib Wong.

*Note: Artists and Families are responsible for their own travel to Cleveland. A shuttle service is being looked into by CIM. For 11th and 12th grade Artists needing travel funding, please apply via our Exceptional Needs Form

**Note: Artists should plan to arrive the evening of Oct 2 to check into the dorm.

Doing Good and Instruments for Success Book Launch

Project 440 is proud to host the authors of the brand new books: Mark Rabideau, who wrote Doing Good: Entrepreneurial Musicians Making a Difference, and Jeremy Reynolds, who wrote Instruments for Success!

Held at the Settlement Queen Village (and including refreshments!), Mark and Jeremy will lead an interactive workshop. Each workshop participant will receive free copies of the books, and they’re welcome to get them signed by the authors!
