Join the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra at Marian Anderson Hall in the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts as they celebrate their 86th Annual Festival Concert.
PYO closes its season with a powerful program of American signature works, in celebration of America’s 250 birthday! Joined by the Mendelssohn Chorus of Philadelphia, the orchestra presents Thompson’s moving The Testament of Freedom and Copland’s triumphant Third Symphony. The evening also features Schuman’s New England Triptych and Stravinsky’s arrangement of The Star-Spangled Banner.
